Karate World Championship | Saadati did not attend the ranking meeting due to injury

According to Fars news agency, on the fifth day (Saturday, November 6) of the 2023 World Karate Championship, hosted by Budapest, Hungary, the medal winning competition will be held in the individual division. In the women’s -55 kg category, Fatemeh Saadati could not compete against Angelika Treliga from Ukraine due to an injury.

Saadati suffered a knee injury in her last fight, and because of this, she was left out of the women’s team committee.

Previously, Mehdi Khodabakhshi won a silver medal in -84 kg and Sajjad Ganjzadeh won a bronze medal in +84 kg.
