According to IRNA, on the second day of the Kazakhstan Judo Grand Prix for the Blind and Visually Impaired, our representative Vahid Nouri in the 90 kg weight category had a break in the first round. In the second round, he entered the tatami with his Kazakh rival and won, and then defeated his English opponent and advanced to the final.

Yesterday, Seyed Meysam Bani Taba also won a gold medal.

One of the highlights of the second day of the Kazakhstan Grand Prix was the elimination of Mohammad Reza Khairullahzadeh, a gold medalist at the Tokyo Paralympics. Khairullahzadeh was declared a loser due to an error against his Turkish rival and was eliminated from the tournament.

Another representative of our country, Sidamid Jafari, after a break in the first round, went against a rival from Egypt and won. He then eliminated his Kazakh opponent and advanced to the final. Jafari, who had to walk on the tatami with a rival from France in the final, will suffice for his silver medal at the discretion of the technical staff due to a severe shoulder injury, and will cancel the fight as the runner-up in this competition.
