According to the sports reporter of Fars News Agency, the preliminary stage of the Volleyball Nations League in the men’s group ended on Sunday, July 19, and eight teams from Italy, Poland, America, France, Japan, Brazil, Iran and the Netherlands advanced to the final stage by winning the first to eighth positions. .
The final stage of these competitions will begin on Wednesday, July 29 in Bologna, Italy, and after holding eight matches in four days of the competition, it will end with the introduction of the top teams on Sunday, August 2.
The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) changed some rules and regulations of this tournament for the final stage.
The five-minute break between the second and third sets is one of these changes, during which it is possible to interview the head coaches and players of the two teams from the main television broadcasting the matches.
Also, the requested time-outs of each team are two in each set, provided that the head coach takes one of them before the technical time-out (12 points). Therefore, after 12 points, each team will have only one timeout request.
The Iranian national volleyball team will face the Polish national team in Bologna, Italy, in the quarter-finals of the 2022 Volleyball Nations League, starting at 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 30.
