
According to Tasnim news agency, in the last game of the second night of the 14th week of the German Bundesliga, tonight (Saturday), the football teams of Dortmund and Leipzig lined up against each other at the Signal Iduna Park stadium, and this game ended with the victory of the visiting Leipzig 3-2.
Dortmund’s work to get a result in this game became difficult very soon because this team had to continue its work with 10 players after the dismissal of its experienced defender, Mats Hummels, in the 15th minute. The situation of the team led by Edin Terzic got even worse when another player of this team, Rami Ben Sabaini, scored an own goal in the 32nd minute.
In the sixth minute of stoppage time of the first half, Nicolas Zule was able to make up for the lost goal for Dortmund, but in the 54th minute, Leipzig scored again, this time by Christoph Baumgartner. Leipzig, however, gained 29 points with its ninth victory, and while consolidating its position in the fourth place, it increased its distance from Dortmund. Meanwhile, the teams of Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich, and Stuttgart are in possession of the first to third places in the table with 13 games and 35, 32, and 30 points, respectively.
On the last day of the fourteenth week of the Bundesliga, tomorrow (Sunday) Stuttgart will host Bayer Leverkusen at 18:00 and Cologne will host Mainz at 20:00.
