According to Tasnim news agency, Robert Lewandowski, who ended his eight-year stay at Bayern Munich and finally joined Barcelona after many struggles by signing a three-year contract, attended the team’s pre-season camp in America, in his first comment as a Barcelona player. He said to this club’s TV channel: I am finally here. I am very happy to join Barcelona. The last days were very long for me, but finally the deal was done. This is a new phase in my life, I always want to win not only games but also championships. I am here to help Barcelona win titles. I hope we win trophies at the end of the season.

He added: I decided to come to Barcelona because I am someone who always wants to be a champion and win titles, and I think this is possible with Xavi. He knows Barca very well and was an amazing player during his career. This team has a great future and I want to be a part of it. I have big goals.

“We have a lot of great players, we have great quality and I think we can achieve great things,” concluded Barcelona’s Polish forward. I spoke with Xavi. I knew his ideas from the beginning and therefore the decision to come to this team was easy. I always wanted to play in La Liga and in a big club.

The best player in the world according to FIFA while scoring 344 goals in 374 games for Bayern Munich, helped the team win 19 different trophies, including eight Bundesliga titles and one Champions League title.
