Manchester United extends Lindelof’s contract


According to Tasnim news agency, Victor Lindelof, whose current contract with Manchester United expires at the end of this season, will stay in this team for another year. Fabrizio Romano, a well-known Italian journalist and expert on European football transfers, announced; The Manchester United club has sent an official letter to the 29-year-old Lindelof’s program manager and informed them that they intend to activate the one-year extension clause of the player’s contract.

In this way, the contract of this Swedish defender will be extended for another year and he will be under the contract of this Premier League club until the end of June 2025. Lindelof, who joined the Red Devils from Benfica in 2017, has played 249 games for this team and has scored 4 goals and 4 assists.

Manchester United club is expected to have such an approach towards Hannibal Majbari and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, whose contracts expire at the end of this season.
