Mansoorian: At first, they opposed my participation in the elections of the Athletes’ Commission

“Shahrbanoo Mansoorian” “I did not know about the election and when I found out, I registered on the last day,” he told IRNA after winning the election.

He added: “I got a good vote and I am grateful to the athletes who were kind to me.” Fortunately, women have a special place on the committee’s Athletes Commission, and they won about a third of the seats, which is a good thing.

Mansoorian said: “From the beginning, my goal was to help women’s sports and then different parts of the country’s sports.” Certainly, if the selected people are together and work hard, we can help the country’s sports.

In response to the question that it is heard that the officials of the Wushu Federation were not willing to participate in the elections of the Athletes Commission of the National Olympic Committee, he said: “At first, they were against and announced that it is better for only one person from Wushu to participate.” At my own insistence, I received the letter of introduction, and I am glad that I voted for Wushu to be represented. In the previous period, “Hamidreza Gholipour” voted for wushu and now I am the representative of this discipline.

The world wushu champion explained about his progress plans: I will continue my training with strength. Soheila and Elahe and I are trying to become two of us travelers to the Hangzhou Asian Games. The Wushu competitions of the Asian Games in the women’s sanda section are held in 2 weights, and our goal is for 2 sisters to be able to reach the main lineup.

He added: “My opinion was to work as a coach this season, because Sepahan has been winning the Wushu League for several years under my coaching in the Women’s League.” I would like to enter the field of coaching in the national team and I have to see what the opinion of the federation officials is in this regard.
