Masjed Soleyman oil players strike in protest of financial problems


According to the sports reporter of Tasnim news agency, Masjed Soleiman Naft is one of the few clubs in the Premier Football League that has not yet paid a percentage of the contract of the members of the football team of this club; An incident that angered the oilmen and made them decide not to attend the match against Arak Aluminum.

The players and coaches of the Masjed Soleyman oil team attended their training camp today (Sunday), but refused to train to begin their strike in protest of financial problems.

Every year, Masjed Soleyman Oil Club struggles to obtain funding from the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of Khuzestan Province. The National Oil Company has transferred an amount to the Masjed-e-Soleiman and Abadan Oil Industry oil clubs to help the department, whose managers refuse to pay the required amount to the two oil clubs in Khuzestan province.

According to the schedule of the Football League Organization, Faraz Kamalvand students will be the guests of Arak Aluminum on Thursday this week, and the presence of oil in this match is not known.
