According to IRNA; Officials of the Wushu Federation met with him today (Monday, January 11) in the presence of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and Ahmad Rastineh’s office.
The meeting was attended by Amir Sedighi, President of the Federation, Nateghi, Vice President for Women, Bakhtiari, Acting Secretary General, Maleki, Director of National Teams, and Habibpour, Wushu Judges.
The meeting presented a report on the activities of the Wushu Federation, especially in the fields of culture, social responsibility and public development, as well as a report on the organization of national team camps and the federation’s plans for a strong presence at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.
Rastineh praised the actions and programs taken, and expressed satisfaction that the Wushu Federation is pursuing various issues in the field with vigor.
He said that attention to cultural issues should not be less than the championship field, he said: the parliament supports the country’s sports in all aspects, including increasing funding for this field in the budget.
The head of the Physical Education Committee of the Parliamentary Cultural Commission expressed the hope that with the efforts and management of the federation, a very good shine will be created for athletes in this field in various fields.
