According to the reporter of Mehr, the International Football Statistics and History Federation published the 2022 selected team of the Asian continent this Sunday. In this team, there are four players from Japan, three players from South Korea and two players from Saudi Arabia, and the share of Iran and Australia is one player.
Mehdi Taremi, the striker of the Iranian national team and Porto club, who scored a total of 39 goals in 2022 and was the best scorer in the Asian continent, is also included in the selected team of the year.
Taremi scored two goals for Iran against England in Qatar World Cup and assisted Ramin Rezaian for the second goal against Wales.
The teams of Japan and South Korea have the most representatives in the selected continent’s team due to their good performance in the World Cup:

Defenders: Kim Min Jae (South Korea), Yoshida (Japan) and Aziz Behich (Australia)
