Therefore, skill enhancement with the aim of job creation and wealth creation is on the agenda of the university.
Ahmadi reminded: In a situation where most of the country’s universities are struggling with debt and budget problems, fortunately, Razi University does not have a single rial in debt, and last year we received a significant budget and managed to pay 25 billion tomans of credit for the salary equalization plan. But we should be aware of the fact that universities should be freed from dependence on the government budget and generate income.

Razi University started its activity in February 1351 under the name of “Kermanshahan University of Science” headed by the late Dr. “Abdul Ali Goya” and in the academic year of 1351-1352 for the first time it welcomed 200 students in the fields of physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics. .
This center was renamed to “Razi University” in 1353 and further developed with the establishment of “Kermanshah Medical College”, “Secretary Training in Sanandaj” and “Ilam Animal Husbandry College”.
With the expansion of higher education after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, these faculties became independent and continued their activities under the titles of “Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences”, “Kurdistan University” and “Ilam University”.
As the designated university of the province, Razi University benefits from the presence of more than 465 faculty members and 487 hard-working employees, and more than 11,000 students are studying in bachelor’s, master’s, general doctorate and specialized doctorate degrees.
