Mirasmaili: Keeping the judo discipline active during the suspension is a priority



According to IRNA, Arash Mirasmaili on Tuesday, on the sidelines of the Iranian Judo Grand Prix, which is being hosted by Ahvaz, said about the final verdict of the Court of Arbitration for Sport: They talked and while we expected the vote to be issued after five weeks, the voting was postponed for 2 months.

He said: “We did our best and used the last opportunity to defend ourselves. Mir Ismaili said that even if one day this suspension is reduced, there is room for victory for us: “Like in the previous period, when everyone considered Iranian judo a loser, but in the face of the oppressive vote, which was the permanent suspension of Iranian judo, victory was won and the vote was invalid.” This time too, we rely on God and I hope we succeed.

He further thanked Khuzestan for hosting the Iranian Judo Grand Prix and added: “The Judo Federation is the only federation in the country in which competitions have been held in the position of Sardar Delha, while the prizes of this period will be awarded in cash competitions.”

Mir Ismaili, referring to the holding of the country’s youth competitions in the men’s and women’s sections with about 800 judokas, added: “By the end of the year, several judo competitions will be held in the country.”

He also said: Bushehr beach competitions will be held in February, in which a prize of one thousand dollars has been determined for the first person, while efforts are being made to invite athletes from the region to these competitions.

The President of the Judo Federation of the country also referred to the holding of the Futurists Judo League competitions in the age group of teenagers and youth and said: To become one of the poles of judo in the country.

The Iranian Judo Grand Prix, which started yesterday in Ahvaz, continues.
