According to IRNA, with the ruling of Seyed Hassan Tabatabai, President of the Karate Federation, Vahid Momeni was elected as the head of the referee committee of this federation.
Momeni also serves as the secretary of the Karate Federation under the chairmanship of the judging committee.
Previously, the chairman of the jury was Javad Salimi.
After the selection competitions of the national karate team and the protest of some champions against the way of judging, a lot of margins were created and finally Salimi resigned.
