The Council of the 2024 Volleyball Nations League was convened yesterday morning (Tuesday, January 26) at the headquarters of the World Federation in Lausanne with the presence of members, and all matters related to the holding of this competition, which is the last event for the selection of the five remaining teams for participation in the 2024 Paris Olympics, were discussed. Yesterday evening, Vahid Moradi, head of the Volleyball Federation, along with Mohammad Reza Davarzani, an Iranian member of the World Volleyball Federation’s Board of Directors, participated in a two-hour meeting attended by Fabio Azuddo, the Secretary General of the World Volleyball Federation, and several officials of the World Federation and the officials of the World Volleyball Federation.
This meeting was about the issues of Iran Volleyball Day and the challenges of hosting our country in the 2025 Men’s World Championship as well as the League of Nations due to the existence of financial sanctions, and while discussing and reviewing these issues, the parties expressed their views and presented solutions for greater interaction.
