According to Mehr news agency, Mohammad Moslaeipour said in an interview with the public relations of the wrestling federation: In view of the protest of some provincial wrestling teams regarding the request to re-review 6 wrestlers of the country’s championship adult freestyle wrestling competitions, the commission of referees along with Tenni Chand, one of the neutral referees, handled the objections of the relevant teams.
Appreciating the referees who judged in these competitions, he said: Don’t be tired and thank God for the fair judging in these competitions and considering that the wrestling federation is looking for the rights of the wrestlers, these 6 matches will be completely and Carefully checked.
Moslaipour added: The matches of the 61 kg finals of Dariush Hazratqolizadeh and Yasin Rezaei, the 70 kg finals of Morteza Qiyasi and Mohammad Bakhshi, the 74 kg finals of Amir Hossein Hosseini and Hossein Abazari, the 79 kg finals of Mustafa Qiyazi and Amir Hossein Kaousi, the quarter finals of 97 kg Daniyal Shariati and Mojtabi Glej, as well as the quarter-final match of 125 kg Mehdi Hashemi and Salar Habibi, were fully investigated, fortunately, there was no change in the place of the winner and loser in all these matches.
The head of the wrestling referees committee said: The federation will investigate the protests of the provincial wrestling boards regarding the refereeing issue immediately after the competition ends and will announce the results through the official website of the federation.
