MP: The business license facilitation plan paves the way for employment

In an interview with IRNA on Friday, Mohammad Safaei Dalavi called the approval of the business license facilitation plan one of the most important measures of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and said: “The current situation and the need to obtain multiple licenses to create job opportunities are the main problem and concern.” Applicants for business creation have become the final approval of this plan in the parliament, will reduce the bureaucracy cycle of this sector and accelerate the licensing process.
The representative of Gonabad and Bajestan in the parliament, noting that our country is ranked 178th among 190 countries in the field of business facilitation, said: “This situation is very deplorable and solving this problem requires the creation of necessary mechanisms and approval of the plan.” It is one of the most important actions of the 11th parliament.
The member of the Economic Commission of the Majles, pointing out that any delay in issuing business licenses destroys its economic justification, added: approving the plan to facilitate the issuance of business licenses after accurately identifying issues and problems in the licensing process in this sector And with the aim of solving this problem and creating a platform for the development of employment and entrepreneurship.
Safaei Dalavi said: “For example, now 120 inquiries should be made to build a fish pond and about 100 inquiries should be taken from various executive agencies for the construction of a cattle ranch, and a young man who is in the initial stage of starting a business should give all his energy and strength.” To obtain these inquiries, and given the length of the process, the plan may no longer have the necessary economic justification.
In a public session last week, members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly approved by 203 votes in favor, 27 against and 11 abstentions, the plan to facilitate the issuance of business licenses.
