According to the Tasnim news agency, the Madrid edition of Marca claimed that Juventus had told Spanish striker Alvaro Morata that he would not renew his loan contract, so he should return to his main team, Atletico Madrid, at the end of the season.
Murata began his second season at Juventus in the summer of 2020 with a two-year loan deal, and the old lady had the option of making his contract permanent by paying € 35 million. Bianconeri, however, apparently does not have such a decision, and the reason is the instability of the player’s performance during the last two seasons.
Murata will leave Italy at the end of the season with just one week left and return to Spain, but it is unclear whether he will play for Rochi Blanco again next season as Barcelona are said to be his second choice. He intends to strengthen his offensive line in case of failure to attract Robert Lewandowski.
In his second season at Juventus, the first season of which was led by Andrea Pirlo, Murata won nothing but the Italian Cup.
