According to the reporter of Mehr, the world championship wrestling competitions will be held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, from September 19 to 27, and the national freestyle wrestling team of our country, in the absence of Russia, is one of the main contenders for the world championship title.
Of course, unlike last year, this competition has many contenders for medals, and some of the failed and absent champions in the 2021 World Championships in Norway are looking to make up for their failure and failure in the 2022 World Championships in Serbia.
In this regard, Reza Atari, the 61 kg national freestyle wrestler of our country, also has a special look at the world competitions of Serbia and believes that considering that he has been in the national team for many years and has worked hard, he has not yet reached his goals.
This 28-year-old wrestler from Babil, Mazandaran province said: I have been a main member of the national team for several years in the 57 kg weight category, but even though I have trained hard and defeated very good opponents, I still did not win a world medal. This year, I intend to win the best and most beautiful medal with all my strength in the new weight of 61 kg.
He continued about his participation in a higher weight: I struggled a bit in terms of weight, and maybe the reason I didn’t get results was to endure these pressures, that’s why I came to a higher weight to face my opponents in better conditions.
Atari said about what goal he is looking for in the future: My championship sport is not over yet and I will wrestle as long as I can and my body allows, of course my goal is to win the world and Olympic gold and I will work hard for it and after the era I would like to continue my education and become involved in management work.
The representative of our country’s 61 kg freestyle wrestling said about his competitors in the world competition: All the Asian, European and American wrestlers are very good in this weight and I have a difficult task ahead of me, but I have to make the most of the opportunity.
Referring to his job status, he added: Fortunately, my employment problem was solved with the follow-ups of the Wrestling Federation and Hasan Rengarz, the General Director of Sports and Youth, and now I have been employed as an expert in the Sports and Youth Department of Fereydon Kanar.
In the end, Atari noted: I am going to Serbia to win the most beautiful medal and I promise I will not leave anything short to get the reward for my efforts.
