According to Tasnim news agency, the British Sun published an exclusive news and claimed that the West Ham club made an offer of 30.5 million pounds for the purchase of Gianluca Scamacca from the Sassuolo team, which was accepted by the Italian team.
According to the claim of this newspaper, while clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Inter had expressed their desire to buy Escamaca, West Ham stole the lead from the bigger clients of the 23-year-old player with their offer. Meanwhile, Sassuolo were hoping to sell the player who has been dubbed the “new Zlatan” in Italy for at least £43 million.
Apparently, according to the agreement between the two clubs to transfer the tall player from Sassuolo (2 meters and one centimeter) to West Ham, the London club has not yet reached an agreement with him. West Ham boss David Moyes has been looking to sign a new striker throughout the summer to compete with fellow striker Michael Antonio.
Before joining Sassuolo in 2017, Skamaka had loan spells at Roma, Lazio and Eindhoven. Last season, he scored sixteen goals in his 36 games in Serie A, and for that reason, he was also interested in big clubs like Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.
