According to the Tasnim news agency, Atletico Madrid issued a statement announcing that Jan Oblak’s corona test has been positive and that the Slovenian goalkeeper has been placed in individual quarantine according to health protocols.
The 29-year-old Oblak, who has a contract with Atletico Madrid until 2023, has played in 30 games for Roji-Blanco this season.
After the current FIFA Day, Jan Oblak is expected to accompany Atletico in his home game against Barcelona in the 23rd week of La Liga on February 6th.
