Obtaining the golden statuette of Iran’s National Financial Management Award by Bank Mellat


According to financial news from the public relations of Bank Mellat, the ceremony of the 14th edition of Iran’s National Financial Management Award was attended by Seyed Ehsan Khandozi, Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, Daud Manzoor, Vice President and Head of the Program and Budget Organization, Mohammad Shirjian, Economic Vice President of the Central and Collective Bank. Economic and financial managers of Bank Mellat and major companies of the country were held in the summit hall.
According to this report, Mellat Bank received the necessary points to receive the golden statue, as the highest level of the award, due to its financial transparency, and Seyed Naghi Shamsi, the deputy CEO in financial affairs, received this statue on behalf of Mellat Bank.
Seyyed Ehsan Khandozi, Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, in this ceremony, referring to the importance of improving financial knowledge and understanding in the society in order to manage expectations, said: reducing emotional financial behaviors in different markets requires awareness among the members of the society in this area.
He considered increasing the quality of financial reporting as a requirement for more effective decision-making by the rulers and pointing to the need to institutionalize the discussion of financial transparency, he stated that measures should be taken to increase the motivation of managers to be accountable for their performance and to reduce corruption in the financial sector. The country should be provided more than before.
According to this report, Iran’s National Financial Management Award has been held since 2009 with the aim of excellence in financial management in Iranian organizations and is a platform for improving and upgrading the level of financial and economic management in participating companies and organizations.
