Persepolis and Zobahan draw in the first half

According to the Mehr reporter, the Persepolis football team hosted Zobahan Isfahan from 5 pm today in the 11th week of the Premier Football League, which was accompanied by a goalless draw between the two teams in the first half.

Yahya Golmohammadi’s students, who were facing Padideh Mashhad during Esteghlal Tehran’s 3-0 win today, had no choice but to score three points against Mehdi Tartar’s students to maintain their distance from the capital’s team.

However, the Zobi showed with their consistent performance at Azadi Stadium that they are not an easy opponent for the champion of the last five seasons of the Premier League.

Zobahan’s multi-layered and focused defense helped the team give few opportunities to Persepolis’ dangerous attacking line. Using the high speed of players such as Mohammad Khodabandeh and Milad Jahani, they tried to score Reza Khaleghifar in the attacking position.

The proprietary game of Persepolis caused most of the battles to take place in the middle of the field, but it was Zobahan who created the first serious danger in the 17th minute on the goal of Persepolis. Isfahani’s guest on Milad Jahani’s escape was able to send the ball to Hamed Lak’s goal, but this ball passed in front of Reza Khaleghifar so that the ball would not cross the host’s goal line.

The physical play of Zobahan midfielders caused Mohammad Khodabandeh Lou to receive a yellow card in the 22nd minute. The Persepolis players then attacked with more people, until finally the Zobahan defenders were forced to stop Milad Sarlak in the 27th minute behind their penalty area, so that Omid Alisha could carelessly take the entire free kick out of the top of the goal.

The ball continued to go back and forth on the goals of both teams, until this time Milad Khodabandeh Lou, who had an acceptable performance in the first half, threatened Lak’s goal with a rebellious shot from a distance in the 30th minute.

The intense game between the two teams increased the number of short short passes by Persepolis and Zouhan. In one of these balls, Seyed Mehdi Seyed Ali believed that the ball had hit Mohammad Sharifi’s hand, which was strongly protested by the Persepolis midfielder, who was warned by the referee in the 38th minute.

The efforts of both teams in the last minutes of the first 45 minutes did not go anywhere so that Persepolis and Zobahan could go to the locker room without scoring a goal.
