He continued: According to the documents and letters sent by the Tax Affairs Organization, the tax debts of Persepolis related to the contract with Mr. Branko were related to the years 1394 to 2017, and no necessary action had been taken regarding most of them in the past periods.
Panahi added: For the year 2014, there was no debt from the original tax, but forgivable crimes remained, which was resolved by following up with the CEO of the club.
He said: We had paid the tax debt related to the principal and unforgivable crimes of 2016 and 2017 before this, a very small amount was left from 2016, which was also done. We have also completed the full settlement of the tax debt related to the original tax and unforgivable crimes of 2015.
The vice president of Persepolis club noted: In this way, the principal tax amounts related to the years 1994 to 1997 and the crimes of the years 1995, 1996 and 1997 were also paid, and a full settlement was made for these years and the tax case of Branko was closed.
He said: “According to Mr. Darwish’s follow-up, this work was completed to resolve all possible concerns of Mr. Branko.” This debt was left from 5 years ago and during different administrations, and it was given the possibility that this issue was one of his concerns and therefore the appeal was dismissed.
