Persepolis’ response to the head coach of Omid: We made a mistake, we cooperated

According to Mehr news agency and quoted from Persepolis club website, Hossein Badamaki said in connection with the statements of the former head coach of Omid team, “Unfortunately, it seems that in Iranian football, when there is only talk and not action, the wall is shorter than Persepolis wall is not big, Persepolis is not just a team or a club. It has tens of millions of fans, and when you attack Persepolis with false content, you have actually attacked a large population of Iranian people. This does not mean that no one talks about Persepolis, but what we say must be principled and logical.

Badamaki pointed out: According to what was discussed in this program, Persepolis club made a mistake and that was cooperation with Team Omid. Persepolis paid a price for this cooperation and is still under attack. The silence of the Football Federation regarding the statements raised will have a message for the clubs and teams. If you don’t cooperate with the federation and national teams, you have one problem, and if you cooperate, you have a thousand and one problems. If you don’t cooperate and don’t give players to the national team, you will be criticized.

The Sports Vice President of Persepolis Club stated: Persepolis paid for the transportation of these players. The heavier cost was that Yasin Salmani gave the cruciate ligament under these pressures. A player who had a special place in our team’s head coach’s plans and was one of the club’s strategic purchases. Persepolis paid this price for cooperation with the federation and the national team. The result is that it does not have a valuable player, and this will have an effect on scoring points in the Premier League and also the performance in the Champions League. This treatment of Persepolis is completely unfair. It is natural that we expect the Football Federation and Mr. Mehdi Taj to take action to restore the dignity of Persepolis after these statements.

Hossein Badamaki said: I respect Mr. Enayati as a member of the football community, but his behavior towards Persepolis, its fans and even the national team itself was not respectful. The respect for the national team was that today they were speaking in the position of the head coach of the national team and not in the position of a former player and fan of the rival Persepolis team. This club and its team and agents should be praised for cooperating with the national team, and after the team that did not give its players, should be fully defended? They say that team had an Asian game! Didn’t Persepolis have it? One of the teams asked God to give them a player so that their games in the league will not be held for the time being so that they can get out of the crisis.

He said: “I was not responsible for Persepolis at that time, but I know very well what a difficult situation Yahya Golmohammadi was in after the injuries in the game with Nasr, and despite this, he gave the players to the national team, and these players played in both Uzbekistan and China.” . In the meantime, the head coach of the team did not even apologize for all the failures. The contradictions in the statements made and the events that happened clarify everything well for the football community.
