Poladgar: It was difficult to host an international taekwondo coaching course


According to IRNA, the 81st International Taekwondo coaching course will start today (Wednesday) with the participation of 155 coaches and will continue until Sunday, December 5th.

The opening ceremony of this international course was held in the presence of “Seyed Mohammad Poladgar”, President of our country’s Taekwondo Federation, “Eun Yong-sung”, President of Kokiwan Academy Center, “Lim Byung Yong”, “Nah Hyung Joon” and “Seo Yong-ah” instructors of this course.

“Due to the difficult conditions that prevailed around the world after the outbreak of the Corona virus, we were able to host this course with special and very difficult follow-ups,” Poladgar said at the ceremony. I hope you can get the most out of it and I ask you, in addition to showing the technical skills you have, to show the toughness of the Iranian coaches.

The President of our country’s Taekwondo Federation continued: “I hope you can convey the things you see in this training course well to your students, always take steps towards progress and globalization, and be able to use these things for the development and service of Taekwondo.”

“Even though we are in a difficult situation in Corona, the center is trying to hold coaching courses, exams, and so on,” said Eun-young Sun, president of the Kokiwan Academy Center.

He added: “According to the health instructions, we hold the courses of the Kokiwan Academy Center in South Korea, but Iran is the first country that has been able to host the training courses of this center in these conditions.”

In the end, the head of the Kokiwan Academy Center said: “I hope you can be well trained and implement the things that are taught in this course, because your responsibility is effective and great in the success of this field; I would like to thank the President of the Iranian Taekwondo Federation who provided the conditions for holding this course.
