According to IRNA; The Asian Taekwondo Association election campaign was held online this morning (Sunday) in the presence of ATU members.
For the presidency of the Asian Taekwondo Association, “Ki Suk Lee” was the only candidate who has been the president since 2013 and remained in this position for another 4 years.
Seyed Mohammad Poladgar, President of our Taekwondo Federation, Iftikhar Ahmad Tabassum from Pakistan, Gak Trung from Vietnam, Abu Bakr Abdul Latif Ki Kurdi from Saudi Arabia, Mohammad Abdullah Manaser from Yemen and Jin Bang Yang from South Korea were the candidates for the post of Vice President of the Asian Taekwondo Union.
With the vote of the members of the assembly, Poladgar was elected President of the Iranian Taekwondo Federation for another 4 years as the Vice President of the Asian Taekwondo Association.
However, Poladgar has not been barred from running again in the Iranian Taekwondo Federation elections after winning an international seat. Since 1379, he has been the president of the Taekwondo Federation.
The registration period for the candidates for the presidency of the Taekwondo Federation has started and the election assembly is scheduled to be held in December.
