Porto coach’s rigid defense against Tarami/Inter was well deserved

According to Mehr reporter, the Porto football team will face Gilles Vicente tomorrow night in the framework of the Portuguese league, while Mehdi Taremi, the Iranian striker of Porto, has not managed to score in the last four matches of this team.

Tarami’s scoring drought, which he has managed to do only twice in the last 10 games, has created concerns and questions among Porto fans; Especially since this striker missed two good scoring opportunities in the match against Italian Inter Milan in the European Champions League.

However, “Sergio Conceição”, the head coach of Porto, in today’s press conference, strongly supported Taremi and rigidly defended the performance of his Iranian striker in this Portuguese team. Concessão also assured that Tarami’s goal-scoring problem will be resolved.

One of the reporters asked the head coach of Porto: “Taremi is a little far from the goals.” Can you find an explanation? Is it possible that Evanilson’s absence is the reason?”

Concisao replied: “They do it according to statistics, but that has nothing to do with it.” I look at Taremi’s match in Milan (against Inter), he played a very decent game.

He emphasized: Of course, if he scored one of his chances, then it would be the cherry on the cake (the conditions were very pleasant), but if Tarimi was not in that position and did nothing, that’s when I got worried. The flowers will come.

The head coach of Porto then reminded the reporters of the great things that Taremi has done in this team and said: Taremi has given so much to the team that it is not enough to look at the past months. He is a great professional, a great player who has already added a lot to Porto and will continue to do so.
