According to the Mehr reporter, Mehdi Taremi was removed from the Porto list due to contracting the Corona virus before Porto’s match with Boavista in the 27th week of the Portuguese League and must be quarantined for a week.
Tarmi lost the match with the Iranian national football team in the match against South Korea, which will be held tomorrow, Thursday, due to the corona test being positive, and he is one of the big absentees of this match.
The Iranian national team will return to Iran immediately after the game with South Korea and will start its camp to meet Lebanon in Mashhad. Since the match against Lebanon will be held on Tuesday next week (April 9) and these competitions are in “Fifadi”, it is possible that Tarmi will come to Iran if the corona test is negative.
Portugal ojogo newspaper today reported on Tarmi’s possible situation and said that his stay in Portugal or return to Iran depends on the decision of national team coach Dragan Skucic.
“The Iranian player is in quarantine due to a positive corona test and missed the game against South Korea, but he may play against Lebanon,” the newspaper wrote.
“Tarmi was banned from playing in the derby against Boavista because of the positive corona test, and he missed the game against South Korea on Thursday, but there is still a guarantee that he will be saved from the next game,” he said. There is no Lebanon. “Everything depends on the decision of coach Dragan Skucic.”
According to the newspaper, Tarmi can resume his work next Saturday, after a week of quarantine.
