According to Mehr News Agency, at the end of the preliminary competition in which 4 representatives of our country were present, Ali Qolizadegan in 61 kg weight, Ali Rezaei in 70 kg weight, Majid Bagheri in 79 kg weight and Mohammad Mobin Azimi in 92 kg weight defeated their competitors. They made it to the finals.

In the weight of 61 kg, Ali Qolizadegan won against Rudosky from Belarus in the first round. In the next round, he beat Psumas from Greece with a score of 10:0. Qolizadegan defeated the representative of Russia in the third round with a score of 10-0 and went to the semi-finals. At this stage, he passed the Uzbek opponent’s barrier with a score of 10-0 and made it to the finals.
In the weight of 70 kg, Ali Rezaei won against Kuprianov from Russia in the first round. In the second round, he defeated Ahmadov from Azerbaijan with a score of 12:1. He defeated in the next round with the result of 13:2 and made it to the semi-final stage. In this stage, Rezaei won against wrestling from Russia with the result of 10:2 and qualified for the finals.
In the weight of 79 kg, Majid Bagheri won against Lukashuk from Belarus in the first round. In the next round and in the quarter-final stage, he won against wrestling from Russia with a score of 10-0. Bagheri won in the semi-final against an opponent from Mongolia and qualified for the final.
In the weight of 92 kg, after taking a break in the first round, in the second round and in the quarter-finals, Mohammad Mobin Azimi defeated Vedernikov from Russia with a score of 10-0 and went to the semi-finals. At this stage, Azimi passed the wrestling barrier from Russia and made it to the finals.
