Rahmati: Tomorrow is considered a national day/ Abdi: We are getting better every game

According to Mehr reporter, Seyed Mehdi Rahmati said in a press conference before the meeting with Uzbekistan’s Nobahar: Tomorrow’s game is a matter of life and death for us, and it is one of the most important matches of this textile season. All the players are mentally well prepared to meet Nobahar and we are ready to win three points in the presence of passionate Nasaji fans.

He continued: “We didn’t deserve to lose in the first leg. Tomorrow, a very good thing will happen at Azadi Stadium, and that is the match between Nasaji and Sepahan against their opponents in the Asian Champions League.” Tomorrow is truly a national day. I request the fans of both teams to support the representatives of Iran for 90 minutes so that both teams can win their matches.

The head coach of Nasaji added: Last week, both Sepahan and Persepolis teams in the Premier League could not achieve superiority against their opponents and were challenged. We are much lower than these two teams in terms of players, but we are not at all disappointed to get a result. The events that happened in the previous game can cause a team to lose. For example, we lost one of our midfielders in the 20th minute, one of our players was sent off in the 50th minute, and we lost another midfielder in the 70th minute, and we were down to 10 players for about 50 minutes. The referee was kind enough to take 11 minutes of wasted time when we scored a goal, and if these events had not happened, the fate would have been written differently.

Rahmati said about the meeting with Tractor: In this meeting, a non-football incident caused the players’ concentration to disappear. I am sure that textile will return to its original position.

Head coach Nasaji continued: This year will be one of the most important years of my coaching career because I have learned a lot. I learned new things, both in the discussion of the beginning of the season, in the discussion of the game conditions, in the discussion of colleagues and in the discussion of events, and I try to continue to put these experiences on the agenda in order to transfer them to the players and they will be more comfortable in play the field Our team doesn’t play bad football, but things bother us. This experience helps me and my players to achieve what we want and we have to make ourselves strong to fight with events and not be fragile.

Rahmati said about the support of Mazandaran province officials to Nasaji team: the only owner of the club is with the team and no one helps us except him. More than two years have passed since Nasaji won the FA Cup, but the authorities have not even built a training ground for this team in Mazandaran province. We would very much like to practice in Mazandaran, but this is not possible in the absence of a suitable grass field. We are even guests in Mazandaran province.

In response to a question that Nobahar’s head coach had said in the away match that Rahmati should add to his technical points instead of protesting the referee, head coach Nasaji said: I have special respect for him and I have nothing to say in this regard. I hope we will win tomorrow’s game with the good prayers of the people.

Abdi: We try to meet the expectations of the fans

Mehrdad Abdi, a player of the Nasaji team, said in a press conference before the meeting with Nobahar: “We have had very good training in these few days.” We could have won in the previous match, but we lost the game due to our own mistakes. I hope we will leave the field victorious in tomorrow’s match with the guidelines of the technical staff.

He continued: It is very good that Nasaji is expected, but sometimes excessive expectations put the player under pressure and cause the team to fail. We are getting better day by day and trying to meet the expectations of the fans.
