Reconciliation of Kianoush Rostami and Ali Hashemi in the disciplinary committee

According to Fars news agency, the meeting of the disciplinary committee of the Weightlifting Federation regarding the dispute between Kianoush Rostami and Ali Hashemi was held at the federation’s premises this afternoon.

In this meeting, the parties expressed their opinions and at the end reconciled with each other and left the federation.
Dr. Moulazadeh, head of the disciplinary committee of the weightlifting federation, said about this meeting: “The meeting was very good and in the new disciplinary committee sessions, our main goal is to protect the national capital. Disciplinary committees are not looking for marginalization. Weightlifting is a difficult discipline and the mental pressure will definitely increase in the national team camps. As I said, our goal is to protect these loved ones. Each and every one of these loved ones who practice all over Iran are supported by us.”

He continued: “Necessary recommendations were given to these dear athletes. These friends treated each other well and spoke their words. We have heard the content and the final result will be issued soon. Regarding the issues that arise in camp, we considered fatigue and psychological burden. The parties officially apologized to each other in the meeting and this happened in the presence of the head of the federation and other friends. Thank God, the program went well and both sides expressed regret for what happened.”
