According to IRNA, Minister of Sports and Youth Hamid Sajjadi congratulated the national karate team in various age categories and won the first place in the Asian Championship in a message.

The extraordinary brilliance of our country’s karatekas and their winning first place in the Asian Championships once again proved the values of the talented Iranian youth in the ancient continent.
Congratulations to the management, technical staff and karatekas of our country and their families, as well as to the proud people of our country, for these proud and heroic victories that have made the great nation of Iran happy.

The 2021 Asian Karate Championships in all age categories (juniors, youth, hope and adults) in kata and komite started on Saturday, hosted by Almaty, Kazakhstan, and ended today, Wednesday.
The Iranian team in all age categories and in both the boys and girls sections participated in this event.
In the end and in all age groups, the Iranian team won 14 gold, 10 silver and 15 bronze medals. The Iranian team did not perform well in the adult age category at all, and “Zabihullah Pourshib” was the only gold medalist in this category.
