Secretary: 85% of the medals are for wrestling, but only 5% of the funds are given to us

According to the sports reporter of Fars news agency, the opening ceremony of the administrative building of the wrestling federation, along with the conference hall of 1,200 people of Shahid Zargham and other facilities of the national wrestling team camp, this Sunday morning coincides with the birthday of the world champion Gholamreza Takhti and the national wrestling day, with the presence of the speaker of the parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. Eslami, Mehdi Chamran, Chairman of Tehran City Council, Kiyomarth Hashemi, Acting Minister of Sports and Youth, Seyyed Munaf Hashemi, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee, some representatives of the Islamic Council, sports officials of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and a number of heads of sports federations and political officials of the country along with Iran’s national wrestling championships were held.

At the beginning of this ceremony, a clip of the accomplishments of Iranian national wrestlers in international arenas and the constructions done in the wrestling federation was shown to the audience.

Then Alireza, the secretary of the wrestling federation, said in a speech: I don’t know how to talk much, I learned to work, and that’s why they look for something in my words. I am trying to say something so that God will like it. Mr. Ghalibaf is very athletic. I could not leave him in two things. One is to go to the mountains. I never reached him 17 or 18 years ago. There is one in the swimming machine record, which was 110 and no one could beat it. He has complete aristocracy in sports. Out of the 12 years he was mayor, I was in charge of sports for 11 years. To the head coaches of the national teams, we must get 50% of the gold medals from next year. This is our right because the ship is for us. Wrestling is the driving force of Iranian sports. We are not a competitor of any discipline and wrestling is for all Iran and all federations. Let someone say that I wanted something for myself in these 4 years. I am the only head of the federation who went on 3 foreign trips with my own money in 4 years. I will not make a deal with anyone to raise the flag of the Islamic Republic. The ship must reach the ideal in our mind.
