According to Mehr news agency, with the end of international competitions of national teams in the world, volleyball leagues started in different countries and according to the statistics announced by the Informatics Committee in 1402, the record of attendance of active Iranian volleyball players in prestigious clubs and prestigious European leagues. Greece, Hungary, Russia, Denmark, Spain, Finland, Kuwait, China, Lebanon and France are also countries that each have one of the Iranian legionnaires in one of their volleyball clubs.
Among the 45 Iranian legionnaires present in different clubs around the world, the country’s female volleyball players are 6 players who have chosen Hungary, Slovenia, Turkey and France to play in 1402.
Meanwhile, in 1400, Iranian volleyball set a new record in this field with 26 legionnaires, and this statistical data has increased by 58% with 45 players this year. With this statistic, a new record was obtained for volleyball in our country. The globalization of Iranian volleyball in the last 10 years and the increase in the exchange rate are the main reasons for this growth and development.
The presence of Iranian volleyball at the first level of the world and Asia and being on the platform as an important factor provides more visibility for the players. The stars who perform in the national teams never stay away from the sharp eyes of their teams and coaches and quickly go to foreign countries with attractive offers.
But in the meantime, sports diplomacy cannot be ignored. In recent years, by winning international seats in the commissions of the World Federation, the Asian Confederation, and with numerous consultations, the Volleyball Federation has paved the way for Iranian volleyball to the other side of the borders, and by signing cooperation protocols with various clubs and federations, it has attempted to establish as many international connections as possible with foreign bodies have done.
The macro and strategic view of the management of the volleyball federation on supporting the players made the growth of Iranian volleyball players not limited within the country or the national team, and by playing in prestigious European leagues, the growth and development of Iranian volleyball is helped more every day.
