According to the Tasnim news agency and quoted by Pikan Club’s public relations, Ibrahim Shakuri, in response to the recent rumors about the exchange of Saman Fallah, the captain of this club’s football team, with players from other teams, stated: There was no question of exchanging our players with other teams. This is not true at all. If it is to be exchanged, we will definitely look for national team players and well-known stars of the league, rather than recruiting any player in the last defense position.
He considered Pikan club as a player production factory and noted: We are a club in the true sense of the word and we comply with professional conditions in football. In fact, Saman Fallah is the achievement of our club and we want to sell the product of our academy with the best conditions and the highest possible price. In the meantime, we don’t only have an economic view; Rather, we consider both the interests of the player and the club.
“Football has become a business and emotions have no place in this market.”, the member of the board of directors of Pikan club stated this statement: Our priority to be present in this market is to use the science of football business and nothing but the interests of the player and We do not consider the club. Unfortunately, despite the fact that we operate transparently and away from tension, we still see rumors. These rumors cannot distract us from the path we are creating.
Shakuri finally said: Not only Saman Fallah, but many of our players left Pikan in this season by paying the consent amount. We have no complaints about any club and we wish success to all Iranian football fans. We hope that the Pikan club will be able to fulfill its duty of discovering, nurturing and introducing new and young stars to the national teams in an efficient manner, as in previous years.
