According to IRNA, the General and Electoral Assembly of the Asia-Pacific Kurash Confederation was held this afternoon (Friday) at the National Library in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.
Mohammad Reza Nasiri Nejad, President of the Kurash Association of the Wushu Federation of Iran, attended the meeting as an observer of the International Kurash Federation and on behalf of Haidar Farman, President of the Federation.
At the end of the voting, Kamil Roziev was re-elected President of the Asia-Pacific Kurash Confederation.
Amir Sedighi, President of the Wushu Federation of Iran, was also elected as a member of the Board and also Chairman of the International Relations Committee of the Confederation.
Kourosh Khosrowyar was also selected as the technical director (technical director). The technical director will enter directly into the board of the confederation. On this account, Iran will have two seats on the board of the confederation.
Also in today’s meeting, Hamed Abdolmaleki, Public Relations Manager of the Wushu Federation of Iran, became a member of the Media Commission of the Asia-Pacific Confederation.
The assembly approved the new constitution of the Asia-Pacific Kurash Confederation, as well as the membership of Saudi Arabia as a new member.
