According to Tasnim news agency and quoting the website of Esteghlal Club, Rafael Silva signed his official contract after attending Esteghlal Club and meeting with the club’s CEO Mustafa Ajourlou.
The 29-year-old Brazilian defender, who was born in the western Brazilian city of Cuiaba, has played for Rioperto, Ponteperta, Boasporto, Chrisioma and Goias. In recent years, the player has worn the jerseys of Boavista Portugal and Al-Faisali of Saudi Arabia, and won a Saudi Cup last season with Al-Faisali.
193 cm and new Esteghlal defender Silva has the ability to play in 3 and 4 defense systems. Silva’s contract with Esteghlal will last until the end of the current season.
