Staki: I don’t care about names; The doors of the national boxing team are open on Shah Bakhsh

Alireza Staki In an interview with IRNA regarding holding a joint camp with the Indian national team, which is considered one of the boxing powers of Asia, he said: This camp and preparatory meeting was a good thing for us. We don’t want to rely on names and we have to try all the people we have in the joint camp and preparation matches.

Stating that our young people fight with more motivation than others, he said: I will choose whoever is more ready and I will not look at the names of the people.

Staki added: Joint camps are very important for us Iranians because our people do not use supplements or drugs. The Indian team brought a doctor with them to Tehran to help the boxers on how to use the supplement. But our children lose weight to participate in competitions, and these joint camps make us raise them technically and mentally.

The head coach of the national team, in response to the question, is his praise of the young players a kick to the experienced team members? He explained: I’m telling the truth and I can’t help but mention it when young people are motivated. Everyone has to show themselves in practice and preparatory matches, and I am not concerned with the results in any way. My goal is to build a team for the future.

He stated that the Asian Championship will start on the 8th of November in Jordan and said: We will start training again from the 1st of October In some weights, the main players are known and maybe we will make a match for them with the second weight players. But in other weights, people hold a selection.

Regarding the conditions of Daniyal Shahbakhsh, who has entered professional competitions, Staki said: He will fight his first fight in professional boxing on the 26th, and I hope he will be good enough to sign a firm contract and earn a good income. Now it is better for Daniel to be a professional boxer to build his future. He has world and Asian medals and he should use them.

The head coach of the national team said: The training conditions of professional and amateur boxing are different. We may not have Shahbakhsh for the Asian Championship, but whenever he returns, the doors of the national team are open for him.

In the end, he said: I am grateful to my colleagues in the national team’s technical staff and I hope that together we will achieve good results in various competitions.
