The second week of the 2022 League of Nations in the men’s group will start tomorrow (Tuesday, June 21) in Bulgaria and the Philippines.
Slovenia, the Netherlands, Argentina, Japan, China, France, Germany and Italy are the eight teams participating in the third group of the League of Nations in the second week, which will compete in the city of Queenson, Philippines.
Teams from Bulgaria, Iran, the United States, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Poland and Serbia will also play in the second week of the fourth group of the League of Nations in Sofia.
In their first match in the second week of the League of Nations, the Iranian national volleyball team will face the host Bulgaria, while the students of the Bulgarian coach Nikolai Jilazkov ended the first week without a win.
The Bulgarian national team lost 3-0 in the first two matches of the week against Germany and Canada, and lost in two matches against Serbia (3-1) and Poland (3-0) to finish 15th in the table with two points and no win. Sixteen teams will be in these competitions.
Iran’s national volleyball team also won two games against Australia and China, and after accepting two defeats against the Netherlands and Japan, it was ranked 11th with 6 points to face tough opponents in the second week.
The US men’s national volleyball team, which topped the table with four consecutive wins and 11 points at the end of the first week, is one of the opponents of the Iranian team in the second week of the tournament, which will face each other on the second Thursday of July.
Brazil, the proudest refereeing team in the World League and the League of Nations, which ranked eighth in the table at the end of the first week of the 2022 League of Nations with two wins and six points, and Canada, which ranks fourteenth with one win and two points, are the other Iranian men’s volleyball opponents. The second week is the League of Nations.
