According to Tasnim news agency, Shoja Khalilzadeh, the defender of the national football team of Iran and Al Rayyan Qatar, who was injured during the match against South Korea on April 25, underwent surgery at Aspetar Hospital in Doha.
Al Rayyan Club announced that the player’s surgery on the connective muscles was successful.
Khalilzadeh was not included in Al Rayyan’s roster for the AFC Champions League group stage due to surgery.
