Seyyed Mohammad Amin Tabatabai won the fifth round of the Henty Memorial Competition in Hungary against Rameshbabu Pragnananda, the Indian chess phenomenon with a white piece. With this victory, he reached a live rating of 2701.5 and took the title of Super Grandmaster of Chess.
Currently, Mohammad Amin Tabatabai and Parham Maqsoodlou are the chess grandmasters of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
