Taekwondo athletes waiting for the issuance of British visas; The assignment will be determined tomorrow

According to IRNA; This competition, which has a high score for the Olympic ranking, will start on Friday this week hosted by Manchester.

Although the Iranian convoy attended the British Embassy in Ankara 42 days ago and took necessary measures to obtain visas, the visas have not yet been issued.

Even Hadi Saei, the president of the Iranian Taekwondo Federation, has spoken to the Secretary General of the World Federation and the President of the British Federation to solve this problem.

The Iranian Federation has also sent a letter to the World Federation and the British Federation to issue a visa, but there is no news of visa issuance.

In the past, the UK had also obstructed the issuance of visas for Iranian taekwondo athletes.

It is heard that the representatives of countries such as Egypt, Ukraine and several European countries have not yet received British visas.

Armin Hadipour, Mehdi Haj Musaei, Mirhashem Hosseini, Alireza Nadalian and Sajjad Mardani in the men’s division and Nahid Kiani and Akram Khodabandeh in the women’s division are taekwondo players who are going to appear in this event.

Failure to participate in this event can make it difficult for Iranian taekwondo athletes to get a quota for the Paris Olympics through the ranking system.
