Taekwondo World Championship; Parnian Nouri won Iran’s third gold medal



According to IRNA, the fifth round of the world junior taekwondo championships, which started on Thursday, August 6, hosted by Bulgaria at the “Armets” hall in Sofia, today, Saturday, on the third day, with the competitions of -41 and -45 kg for boys, -44, and 55 kg. – and 59-kg girls were followed, and among the three representatives of Iran, Parnian Nouri won the gold medal, Hana Zarin Kemer also reached the finals, but Arash Zamani was eliminated from the two competitions.

Nouri went to meet “Sang Tong” from Thailand in the final of 44 kg weight and finally became the world champion in 2 consecutive rounds with the results of 8:4 and 11:5 without losing a single round to his rivals.

This worthy taekwondo player of our country started his work this morning with a 2-0 advantage against “Gabriela Kasniska” from Poland, and continued with the same result in the fight with “Tekin Zeinep” from Turkey and “Torres” from America and went to the semi-finals. It was finalized.

At this stage, he defeated Baez from Mexico in 2 consecutive rounds and made it to the finals.

For the Iranian national taekwondo team, Baran Jamal Livani, Saina Alipour and Parnian Nouri have won 3 gold medals, Mohammad Irfan Zare a silver medal and Fatemeh Bagherzadeh a bronze medal.

Arash Zamani, Amirhossein Wali Mohammadi and Ardin Najafi have also withdrawn from the competition.

This tournament will end tomorrow, Sunday, August 9th.
