According to Fars news agency, Mehdi Taj said at today’s meeting of the sports ministers of Iran and Russia: In the field of football, Sepahan and Zenit St. Petersburg have a long-term partnership, which is renewed every year. Our under-17 team was in Russia this year and the under-17 team of this country also had a 15-day camp in Isfahan. We also sent our coaches who worked in the talent search department to Russia. Zenit team did the same thing in Isfahan.

He added: Tomorrow, a caravan of 70 people from Zenit will come to Isfahan, and a friendly match will be held on Friday between this team and Sepahan. A football match between the Iranian national team and Russia will be held in Tehran on the 2nd or 3rd of April. We have also invited the Russian women’s futsal team to Tehran.
