Taj: The people are standing by the revolution and maintaining the system/ We are not in a hurry to choose the head coach of the national team

In an interview with the sports reporter of Fars News Agency, Mehdi Taj said on the sidelines of the 44th anniversary celebration of the Islamic Revolution: Alhamdulillah, we were lucky to participate in this event every year. I found this year to be much more enthusiastic and the people of our country showed up much more seriously than in previous years due to the events that happened in the country.

He added: “This work of the people today has a correct interpretation, which is that despite all the problems, difficulties and complaints they have, when the revolution comes and it comes to maintaining the system, such a crowd as you saw today comes.” Everyone came to the streets with all their opinions, which is a good thing.

Regarding the start of a new season for the football federation and the national team, Taj said: We must seriously pursue our work in football and perform our missions efficiently. The first thing we have to do is to choose the head coach of the national team, but considering that no team will give their players to the national team to set up a camp, for this reason, unlike many who are in a hurry, we are not in a hurry for this issue.
