According to IRNA’s reporter, Hadi Sae said on Wednesday at the annual general meeting of the Golestan Taekwondo team: providing the necessary infrastructure for training, holding domestic competitions and sending to prestigious competitions are among the strategies considered in the federation to achieve this goal. .
He said: In this regard, the Iranian youth teams will participate in the World Championships in Bulgaria next week and then in the Asian Championships in Vietnam.
So far, four rounds of international competitions have been held in the age group of young people, in which the girls’ group of Iran won three championships and one third title, and in the record of the Iranian boys taekwondo team, there is also one championship and three runner-up titles.
Sa’i pointed out the efforts of the federation’s program to hand over the hosting of the competitions to the provinces and said: Considering Golestan’s announcement of readiness, the country’s junior taekwondo competitions will be held in this province.
The president of the Taekwondo Federation also promised the coaches of this field in the country that if the athletes are brought to the national team camp, they will be added to the technical staff.
Sa’i said: For example, when three athletes from Golestan are going to the World and Asian Youth Championships, a coach from this province will attend the national team’s camp and will monitor the training of the national team along with other coaches.
The General Director of Sports and Youth of Golestan also said in this meeting: Taekwondo in Golestan has many capacities and we are trying to prepare them to win honor in prestigious events by providing the necessary infrastructure.
Ghasem Ali Barzmini stated: One of the ways to progress in sports is to accept the hosting of prestigious competitions.
