Taremi is on the radar of Italy’s fourth team/Lazio’s tour for the Iranian striker

According to Mehr reporter, after scoring a goal against England in the first match of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Mehdi Taremi, the striker of the Iranian national team, became one of the players who attracted news and speculations about transfers in European football.

30-year-old Taremi, who has a contract with Porto until the end of the next season, has made it easier for him to move to another team and country by shining in the World Cup.

It was after the game with England that some experts and English media announced that Tarimi is a suitable option for Manchester United club and to replace Cristiano Ronaldo. Previously, Taremi’s name was discussed with clubs such as Arsenal and Chelsea.

Now, while Porto Club has not officially reacted to the news about its Iranian striker, Akram Kanur, a Turkish journalist who is active in the field of European football transfers, claimed that Lazio Club has monitored Tarami’s conditions.

Lazio is currently the fourth team in the Italian Serie A table, after Napoli, AC Milan and Juventus.

Porto club has not officially reacted to the transfer news about Tarami. However, “Sergio Conceição”, the head coach of Porto, answered a question about this in his last press conference held two days ago.

A reporter asked Concessão about the possibility of Taremi being poached by the Sharks (Europe’s other big teams) due to his good performance in the World Cup, and whether he was worried about losing his Iranian striker. In response, the head coach of Porto said: Porto is one of the sharks in the history of football.

Taremi has been noticed by the Lazio team in a situation that has a history of facing this team. In March of last year, Porto faced Lazio in the second leg of the Europa League. Tarami, who was on the field for 78 minutes, had an admirable performance in that match. He took a penalty for his team and converted the penalty into a goal. Taremi then beautifully assisted his teammate for the second goal and became the foundation for Porto’s promotion.
