Now we see that the coaches with experience in the Premier League have no place in the national team, but they give the helm of the national team to a young man who has just coached for 2 years.
Tayerpour continued: “Head coaching requires professional ethics and they must work in a way to achieve good results.” Coaching is not about going to the national team to gain experience. A person who has not achieved a result in the Premier League as a head coach and is tenth, of course, can not succeed in the national team.
He added: “It is better for the federation to bring a foreign coach because the foreign coach does not differentiate between the players because he does not know them.” The foreign coach can choose better options without intention. The selection of the player is very important and when an inexperienced club coach goes to the national team, he selects weak players and the rights of the players should not be lost. This causes frustration for the nationalists and affects them emotionally.
The head coach of the Bahman women’s basketball team said: “You should not play with the players’ feelings.” If the coach is neutral, he can grow the national team and achieve the desired result. Some people may be offended by what I say, but it is true and the coach must be neutral.
He also said about sending the three-on-three basketball team to the Asian Games: “The national basketball team will be sent to these games because the sending of the national basketball team is costly.” The national five-a-side basketball team was sent to the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games and was ranked sixth out of six teams and did not achieve a good result.
Tayerpour added: “The national team must train very well in order to perform well in these games, and it is not important to send only one team.”
