Tehran won the national rowing competition

According to Fars news agency, the country’s rowing championships in the women’s and men’s divisions were held this morning at Azadi Lake.

Athletes from the provinces of Gilan, Tehran, Zanjan, Mazandaran, Lorestan, Kurdistan, Qazvin, West Azarbaijan and Fars participated in this competition, and rowers competed in light and heavy weights.

In women’s lightweight single rowing, Saqi Maleki from Tehran won the first place with a time of 8:44.330 minutes, Melika Soltani from Zanjan won the second place with a time of 9:29.070 minutes, and Pernia Imani from Lorestan won the third place with a time of 9:30.480 minutes.

Aygin Karimi from Tehran won the gold medal with a time of 8:36.920 minutes, Hanieh Khorsand from Gilan won a silver medal with a time of 9:05.750 minutes, and Tina Mohammadi from Zanjan won a bronze medal with a time of 9:29.240 minutes. He hung his neck.

At the end of the competition, in the women’s division, Tehran team won the championship with 14 points, and Gilan and Zanjan teams were second and third with 8 points, taking into account the athletes’ time.

In the men’s section, the Tehran team won the championship with 19 points, the Kurdistan team took the second place with 18 points, and the Fars team took the third place with 12 points.
