The beginning of the first Olympic camp of the national karate teams for the deaf in Arak and Tehran

According to Fars News Agency, the first stage of the evaluation and selection camp of the National Deaf Karate Team in the two men’s divisions to participate in the 2021 Olympic Games for the Deaf in Brazil will start today, February 2, and will continue until February 10.
19 karate men will practice under the supervision of Gholam-Ali Heidari, head coach, and Mohammad Reza Hoshyar, head coach of the committee, and Majid Safi, head coach of Kata, hosted by the Deaf Sports Board of Markazi Province at the 5th of Mordad Sports Complex in Arak.
18 women karatekas will start their training from today under the supervision of Mojgan Ghorbani, the head coach of the national women’s karate team and the staff at the national teams camp of the federation in Tehran.
The 24th edition of the 2021 Summer Olympics for the Deaf will be held in May 1401 in Casillas de Sol, Brazil.
